ProCare Therapy has an opening for a full time special education paraprofessional to work with a school district in Cupertino, California for the summer session. The position will be part time and will run June 24th - July 25th. The position will be working one on one or providing classroom support for special education students with a variety of disabilities and needs. Behavior experience is preferred for this position. This position will likely offer the opportunity to renew for the 24-25 school year. Special education experience is preferred. This position will be contracted through ProCare Therapy and will offer a pay range of $25-$27/hour depending on your level of experience.   • Working with special education students and students with intellectual/physical disabilities 
  • Candidate must be prepared to work with various special education behaviors, including but not limited to; aggression, biting, eloping, redirection, toileting, diapering, lifting, various medical need, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Experience with special education or working as a paraprofessional
  • Background check, drug screen & fingerprinting will be required of all candidates
  • In schools experience preferred
  • Special education experience required
  • Interest in schools and education preferred
